The Tennessee Volunteer 1000 ride is being organized by Charles Reese, aka TinPony, and friends, and will be an attempt at two world records. The first attempt is for the most Honda Runes in an IBA Saddle Sore ride. The second is an attempt to break the record for the most number of bikes participating in an In-State Saddle Sore ride. The current record stands at 409 bikes riding in a single in state ride. The ride will be an IBA sanctioned event. This ride is open to ALL riders and ALL types of motorcycles!!

The ride is being organized to benefit the Hoagy’s Heroes Long Distance Charity Riders. Be a Hoagy’s Hero and help children throughout the country. Riders participating in this event will not only get an opportunity for some great riding but also the opportunity to do a good deed.

Come join us as we ride across the three grand divisions of the great State of Tennessee! We will begin in the East Division in Erwin riding across the Middle Division through Nashville and into the Western Division to Memphis. On the flag these three regions are represented by three stars and are bound together in an unbroken circle. Be a part of a great charitable event and a experience a great opportunity to see such a beautiful state TWICE in one day!!!

The ride date is September 2nd, 2010:  starting and ending in Erwin, Tennessee.
